Feast Day: July 17
Virgin – Sister of St. Ambrose of Milan
Born in Trier, Gaul, St. Marcellina dedicated her life to prayer, asceticism, and support of her family, including her younger brother Ambrose. After their parents’ death, she helped raise him before embracing a consecrated life in Rome. Her spiritual influence helped shape Ambrose into one of the Church’s greatest bishops and theologian.
