Morning Offering
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month. Amen.
A Personal Prayer Inspired by St. Augustine’s Conversion
O Lord, Framer of the universe, grant that I may rightly invoke You, show myself worthy to be heard by You, and deign to set me free.
You are the Father of truth, wisdom, and true life. Turn my restless heart to You, as You did for St. Augustine. Help me leave behind the seductions of the world and rest in You alone, for our hearts are restless until they rest in You.
St. Augustine, Doctor of Grace, pray for us that we may experience true conversion and love God with all our heart. Amen.
