Saint of the Day: Saint Francis di Girolamo

Saint Francis di Girolamo was a devoted Jesuit priest born in Italy in 1642. Known for his powerful preaching and deep compassion for sinners and the poor, he spent much of his life bringing people back to God through missions, confessions, and acts of charity. He preached in streets, prisons, and villages, tirelessly calling souls to repentance and holiness.

Saint Francis had a special love for the Holy Eucharist and the Blessed Virgin Mary. Through his humility, prayer, and missionary zeal, many hearts were converted to Christ. He died in 1716 and was later canonized for his holy life and dedication to spreading the Gospel.

His example reminds us that true holiness is found in loving God faithfully and serving others with compassion and courage.

Prayer:
Saint Francis di Girolamo, pray for us, that we may grow in love for Christ and bring His light to those around us. Amen.
