About St. Elizabeth
St. Elizabeth was the wife of St. Zechariah and the mother of St. John the Baptist. Although she and her husband had long been unable to have children, God answered their prayers in His perfect time. Elizabeth conceived John through God’s miraculous intervention, preparing the way for the coming of Jesus Christ.
