9 Days Novena Prayer to St. Joseph That Never Fails

About St. Joseph

St. Joseph was of the royal family of David by birth, but was living in humble obscurity as a carpenter when God raised him to the highest sanctity, and chose him to be the spouse of His Virgin Mother, and foster-father and guardian to Jesus. Joseph, says Holy Scripture, was a just man; he was innocent and pure, and became the husband of Mary, he was gentle and tender, as one worthy to be named the father of Jesus. When he learned that Mary carried within her womb the Lord of Heaven, he feared to take her as his wife, but an angel told him not to fear, and all doubts vanished.
When Herod sought the life of the divine infant, an angel told Joseph in a dream to flee with the Child and His Mother into Egypt. Joseph at once arose and obeyed.
Being directed by God in another vision he returned to the land of Herod Antipas, in Galilee, to his former home in Nazareth. When Jesus was a little older Joseph and Mary found him in the temple after being missing for three days. When Mary asked him why He had done this to them Jesus replied, “Did you not know that I must be about my Father’s business”? Even though he stayed in the temple unknown to His parents, in the end He was still obedient to them.
There is no further mention of St. Joseph in Scripture after this and he is presumed to have died before the marriage of Cana and the beginning of Jesus’ ministry. We can imagine the happiness of Jesus and Mary attending to his death praying by him and comforting him in his last moments.

Dear Saint Joseph please hear my prayers. My son has been diagnosed with colon cancer. He will have surgery to have that section of his colon removed. I pray that they remove all the cancer from his body and there are no more cancer cells in his body. If chemo is needed I pray that it is successful and he will be cancer free. I pray for him to live a long life cancer free so he may grow old and live to see his children’s children. Thank you Saint Joseph for hearing my prayers.

Dear St Joseph, spouse of the Immaculate Virgin, obtain for me a pure, humble, charitable mind, and perfect resignation to the divine Will. Be my guide, my father, and my model through life that I may merit to die as you did in the arms of Jesus and Mary. Loving Saint Joseph, faithful follower of Jesus Christ, I raise my heart to you to implore your powerful intercession in obtaining from the divine Heart of Jesus all the graces necessary for my spiritual and temporal welfare, particularly the grace of a happy death, and the special grace I now implore you financial help to pay off my debts.

O holy St. Joseph, I pray for guidance, wisdom, focus, and strength as I prepare and study for the Physician Licensure Examination. For peace of mind and freedom from anxiety, fear, doubt, and worries, especially during this season of preparation. For good health, perseverance, and the grace to remain disciplined and focused throughout my studies. Most especially, I pray for the Lord’s guidance and blessing that I may successfully pass the Physician Licensure Examination this coming October 3, 4, 10, and 11. May I be granted clarity of mind, confidence, and the ability to recall and apply everything I have learned during the examination. Above all, may God’s will be done, and may I trust in His plan and guidance throughout this journey. Amen.

I pray that I get this job that I’ve tried numerous times to get but have been rejected a few times. Very recently I got an email back from a manager of this company to fill out an availability form to send it back to him. It has been about 24 hours since I sent the form back with no response back yet. I am hoping and praying they will consider hiring me because I’ve been unemployed for 10 months (looking for 5 of those months) after working my last job for 9 years. I hope it’s in His plan for me that I get this job! I feel it’s about 80% there but the last 20% is deciding whether to be brought in or not. I pray that they do bring me in! Good pay, solid hours, which is what I truly need!

St Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God. I ask of you to protect and guide my son who is autistic and all vulnerable children. Help me gain faith and trust in God that when I no longer exist in this world my son and all vulnerable children will be protected from evil people. Mother Mary, as you suffered of a broken heart and anguish to see your son tortured and die for our sins, I beg you, help us mothers with our hearts as we see people not understand our children who struggle to understand this world.
