Sunday is a day dedicated to the Resurrection of Christ & the Holy and Undivided Trinity
If God gives us everything, we owe Him everything!
Catholics are required to attend Mass on Sundays as part of the Third Commandment, which calls for keeping the Sabbath day holy. Sunday is considered the Lord’s Day because it is the day of Jesus’ resurrection. By attending Mass, Catholics participate in the Eucharistic celebration, which is central to their faith and spiritual life.
The Church teaches that regular participation in the Mass is important for receiving the graces necessary to grow in faith, strengthen their relationship with God, and receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist, which we Catholics believe is the body and blood of Christ. Jesus said at the Last Supper, “This is my body . . . This is my blood” (Matthew 26: 26, 28)
Please Go to Mass, Jesus is waiting for you at the church!
