(June 17, 2025)
Feast Day: June 17
Patron of: the blind and bards
St. Hervé was a 6th-century hermit and poet from Brittany, France. Born blind, he lived his life with incredible trust in God’s providence. Though he couldn’t see, he had a deep spiritual vision that inspired many around him. With his devoted guide and his faithful wolf companion (yes, a wolf!), he traveled through the countryside preaching the Gospel, singing sacred hymns, and comforting the poor.
He is remembered not only for his holiness and humility but also for his poetic spirit and joyful heart despite suffering. His life reminds us that even with physical limitations, God can use us powerfully to touch hearts and lift souls.
A Prayer for Today
St. Hervé, guide us to trust God even when we cannot see the way. Help us walk by faith, not by sight. Pray for all who suffer and those searching for light. Amen.

Leave us your prayers…
