One Minute Catechism – Is There Only One God?

Question: Is there only one God?
Answer: Yes, there is only one God. He is the Creator of Heaven and earth, eternal and all-powerful, without beginning or end. Though there are three divine Persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—they are one God in nature and essence.

Scripture:
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.” (Deuteronomy 6:4)

Reflection: Lord, I believe that You alone are God. Help me to love You with all my heart, all my soul, and all my strength.
