Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.
On this thirty-third day of the Great Lent, I come before You weary but hopeful. Strengthen me where I am weak. Teach me to deny myself without despair. Help me to take up the small crosses of this day—my temptations, my irritations, my struggles—with patience and trust.
Let my fasting not be only of the body but of the tongue, the eyes, and the heart. Fill the empty places in me with Your presence. Renew my zeal for prayer. Soften my heart toward those around me.
And grant me the grace to follow You more faithfully, even when the path leads uphill. Prepare me, O Lord, for the glory of Your Holy Week and the joy of Your Resurrection.
For You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Amen.
