Saint of the Day: St. Expedite

Short Biography
Saint Expedite was a Roman soldier and a Christian martyr, believed to have lived in the early centuries of the Church. According to tradition, he was a commander in the Roman army who decided to convert to Christianity.

As the story goes, when he resolved to follow Christ, a spirit of evil tried to delay him, appearing as a crow crying “Tomorrow!” (cras in Latin). But Expedite firmly stamped on the crow and declared “Today!” (hodie), choosing not to postpone his conversion.

Because of his faith, he suffered martyrdom for Christ. Though details of his life are limited, devotion to Saint Expedite spread widely, especially among those facing urgent needs and difficult decisions.

Please pray for my school enrollment. I have unfounded gossip circulating and I am losing students in the elementary. Please pray for healing in my school. I depend on tuition to pay my teachers.
    Thank you!
