About Christ The King
Christ the King is one of the names of Jesus found in various forms in Scripture. He is referred to as King Eternal, King of Israel, King of the Jews, King of kings and King of the Ages.
The Feast of Christ the King was instituted by Pope Pius XI in his encyclical Quas Primas in 1925. As a response to the rise of secularism and unrest between nations, Pope Pius stated, “Men must look for the peace of Christ in the Kingdom of Christ.”
Why do we celebrate Christ the King?
The Feast of Christ the King, also called ‘Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe,’ is a festival celebrated in the Roman Catholic Church in honor of Jesus Christ as Lord over all creation. Essentially, it is a magnification of the Feast of the Ascension established by Pope Pius XI in 1925.

In the name of our beloved Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Lord of Lords and King of Kings, by whose precious blood we are saved, I humbly pray that our Mother the Blessed Virgin Mary may pour out God’s graces upon us, so that we may surrender our wills and our lives to the Divine Will of God in all things forever more. Peace in the middle East and financial backing to move to be near our children and Grandchildren
Dear Jesus Christ, I pray that my daughter, Ivana, will remove herself from her unrighteous friends that she has been hanging around with lately and who like to drink a lot of sinful alcohol and party and probably live in sin.
God, show my daughter, Ivana, you are honest and will guide and protect her. Please give her a sign that she needs to believe and trust in you only.
God, please send my daughter, Ivana a loving man and godly man who puts God’s will first, and he will respect and love her unconditionally.
