Feast Day: November 9
The Lateran Basilica in Rome is the cathedral church of the Pope and is considered the “Mother Church” of all the churches in the world. This feast celebrates the dedication of the basilica to Christ the Savior and honors its role as a spiritual center of unity for the Catholic Church.
The basilica, officially called the Archbasilica of St. John Lateran, has been a place of prayer, worship, and Church councils for centuries. The feast reminds us of the Church’s mission to guide the faithful in truth, holiness, and communion with Christ.
Prayer:
Lord, bless Your Church and all who gather in its sacred spaces. May we remain faithful to Your teachings and grow in unity and love as members of Your holy family. Amen.

Leave us your prayers…
