Novena Begins: October 10
Feast Day: October 19
For Grace, Strength in Suffering, and Love of Jesus Crucified
Saint Paul of the Cross was a priest, mystic, and founder of the Passionists who dedicated his life to proclaiming the saving love of Jesus Christ through His Passion and death on the Cross. This novena invites us to seek his intercession, grow in holiness, and unite our daily sufferings with the sufferings of Our Lord.
Through the intercession of Saint Paul of the Cross, let us ask God for the graces we need to remain faithful to Christ, especially in times of trial, sorrow, and uncertainty.

Saint Paul dedicated his life to proclaiming the infinite love of Jesus Crucified and encouraging the faithful to find strength, hope, and holiness through the Cross.
You may pray this novena to ask for Saint Paul of the Cross’s intercession in times of suffering, uncertainty, and spiritual difficulty. His example reminds us to trust in God’s Divine Providence, persevere in prayer, and unite our daily trials with the sufferings of Christ.

As you pray these nine days, remember that a novena is not a guarantee that God will grant every request exactly as we desire. Rather, it is an expression of faith, perseverance, and trust in His wisdom and mercy.
Through the intercession of Saint Paul of the Cross, may you receive the spiritual strength to remain faithful to Jesus Christ, whatever trials you may face.
