About the Sacred Heart of Jesus
A Heart That Burns with Love for You
The Sacred Heart of Jesus is one of the most tender and powerful devotions in the Catholic Church. It reminds us that Jesus doesn’t just love the world — He loves you, personally and deeply, with a heart that knows your joys, your wounds, and your every prayer.
The image of His Heart — burning with love, pierced by a lance, crowned with thorns, and shining with divine light — is a symbol of His unending mercy, sacrifice, and desire to be close to us.
This devotion was especially revealed to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque in the 17th century. Jesus showed her His Heart, saying:
“Behold this Heart that has loved men so much, yet is so little loved in return.”
Through this message, Jesus invited us to love Him more, trust Him more, and make reparation for the times we forget or reject His love.
What the Sacred Heart Means for Us?
When you feel unloved or forgotten, remember: His Heart never turns away.
When your heart is heavy with sin or sorrow, His Heart is open to forgive and heal.
When you long for peace, hope, or direction, His Heart is your refuge.
