Feast Day: November 21
The Presentation of Mary celebrates the day when Mary, as a young child, was presented by her parents, Saints Joachim and Anne, in the Temple of Jerusalem to live in devotion to God. This feast highlights Mary’s lifelong dedication to the Lord and her purity, preparing her to become the Mother of Jesus.
It is a reminder for all the faithful to consecrate themselves to God and follow Mary’s example of obedience, prayer, and holiness.
Prayer:
Lord, may we follow the Blessed Virgin Mary in her love and devotion, offering our lives to You with the same purity of heart and faithfulness. Amen.
