About Saint Mary Magdalene de' Pazzi
Saint Mary Magdalene de’ Pazzi (1566–1607) was born into a noble family in Florence, Italy. At the age of sixteen, she entered the Carmelite Monastery of Santa Maria degli Angeli, where she dedicated her life entirely to prayer, penance, and contemplation.
Shortly after making her religious profession, she experienced remarkable mystical visions and ecstasies centered on Christ’s Passion, the Holy Trinity, and the immense love of God. During these experiences, she encouraged greater holiness among priests, religious, and the entire Church.
