Prayer:
O glorious St. Anthony of Padua,
faithful servant and friend of Christ,
you were known for your powerful preaching,
your love for the poor,
and your deep devotion to the Holy Eucharist.
On this blessed feast day,
we turn to you with confidence and love.
Pray for us, that we may grow in holiness,
in humility, and in charity toward others.
Help us to find what we have lost —
not only material things,
but also peace of heart, hope, and closeness to God.
St. Anthony, gentle miracle-worker,
intercede for our intentions today:
(pause and offer your intentions silently)
May your example inspire us to live the Gospel fully,
and may your prayers draw us ever closer to Jesus,
whom you so deeply loved.
