Prayer to Saint Barnabas
Saint Barnabas,
Son of Encouragement and faithful servant of Christ,
you who sold your possessions and laid them at the feet of the Apostles,
you who strengthened the early Church with your faith and generosity,
and who fearlessly proclaimed the Gospel alongside Saint Paul to the nations,Intercede for me before the throne of God.
Fill my heart with the same courage and joy you possessed.
Help me to be an encourager to those around me,
to speak words of hope and consolation,
and to live my faith with generosity and zeal.Grant me the grace to remain faithful in trials,
to trust in God’s providence as you did,
and to spread the light of Christ wherever I go. Saint Barnabas, Apostle and Martyr,
pray for the Church,
pray for missionaries,
and pray for me,
that I may one day rejoice with you in the Kingdom of Heaven.Through Christ our Lord.
