All Souls Day

Feast Day: November 2

All Souls’ Day is a special day in the Church when we pray for all the faithful departed, especially those in Purgatory, who are being purified before entering heaven. It reminds us of the reality of eternal life and the importance of praying for the dead, offering Masses, and performing acts of charity to help the souls reach God’s glory more quickly.

Reflection:
On this day, we unite our prayers with Christ’s mercy, trusting that our loved ones are being prepared to share in the joy of heaven.

Prayer:
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen.
