About St. Agabus
St. Agabus was an early Christian prophet and disciple mentioned in the Acts of the Apostles. He is best known for accurately foretelling a great famine that would affect the Roman world during the reign of Emperor Claudius (Acts 11:27–30). His prophecy prompted the Christians in Antioch to provide relief for their brothers and sisters in Judea, demonstrating the Church’s spirit of charity and unity.
