Reflection (Meditation):
On this ninth day of Christmas, the Church turns her gaze to Mary, the Holy Mother of God, who lovingly treasured all these events in her heart. Mary teaches us how to receive Jesus—not with noise or haste, but with silence, trust, and deep faith.
As the Mother of the Savior, Mary carried the Prince of Peace into the world. Through her humble “yes,” God’s promise was fulfilled, and salvation entered human history. Even in the simplicity of Bethlehem, Mary believed, hoped, and loved completely.
This day invites us to place our lives, our families, and our worries into Mary’s maternal care. She always leads us to her Son and teaches us how to live in peace, even in uncertain times. When we welcome Mary into our hearts, we learn how to welcome Jesus more fully.
Ninth Day of Christmas Prayer
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
we thank you for your loving “yes”
that brought Jesus, our Savior, into the world.
On this ninth day of Christmas,
teach us to trust God as you did,
to ponder His works in our hearts,
and to follow your example of humility and faith.
Intercede for our families,
bring peace to our homes,
and guide us always closer to your Son, Jesus.
May this Christmas season fill our hearts
with hope, joy, and lasting peace.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Leave us your prayers…
