(March 28, 2025)
There are moments when it feels difficult to let go—whether it’s a particular attachment, a fear, or even our pride. The world tells us to cling to control, but God calls us to trust. Trust that His plan is greater than our own. Trust that by surrendering, we make space for Him to work in us. The journey of Lent, especially at this point, can be one of letting go, of loosening our grip on what doesn’t serve us and opening our hearts to what truly matters—faith, love, and charity.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. -Matthew 6:21
Prayer:
Lord,
Today, I come before You with a heart that seeks to surrender.
Help me to let go of what no longer serves me—whether it’s my fears, my attachments, or my pride.
Give me the strength to trust in Your plan, even when I don’t understand it.
Open my heart to Your presence, so that I may grow closer to You during this Lenten season.
Guide me as I let go and make room for Your love to transform me.
May I always seek Your will in all things, trusting that Your love is all I need.
Amen.
“Fasting is the soul of prayer, mercy is the lifeblood of fasting. So if you pray, fast; if you fast, show mercy, if you want your petition to be heard, hear the petition of others. If you do not close your ear to others, you open God’s ear to yourself.” -St. Peter Chryosologus
Make this Lent the best of your life (Prayer, Fasting, Repent, Almsgiving).
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. -Matthew 5:16

Leave us your prayers…
