As we approach the midpoint of Lent, today invites us to reflect on the deeper call to repentance and transformation in our lives. The journey through these 40 days isn’t just about giving up something; it’s about cultivating a heart of humility, openness, and devotion to God’s will.
God is asking us to surrender our pride, our comfort zones, and our distractions so that we can make room for His grace to work in our hearts. True transformation comes when we allow God to shape us from the inside out, when we open ourselves to the quiet whispers of His love and mercy.
A clean heart create for me, God; renew within me a steadfast spirit. -Psalm 51:10
Prayer:
Grant me the courage to surrender my distractions, my ego, and my comforts so that I may be more fully available to Your will. May this Lent be a time of true renewal in my life, and may I grow in holiness each day.
