(April 1, 2025)
Have we truly opened our hearts to God’s love? Or have we been distracted by the noise, the worries, the things that keep us from drawing near to Him? The beauty of Lent is that it offers us this space to turn back. Every day is an invitation to get closer to the person God created us to be — the one filled with love, grace, and a deep sense of peace.
Today, let’s take time to listen — really listen — to God’s voice in our lives. He is speaking to us through the silence, through our struggles, and through our joys. What is He saying to you today?
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. -Revelation 3:20
Prayer:
Lord, we offer up all our thoughts, our worries, and our hopes for the days to come. May we seek You more deeply, serve others with a pure heart, and find joy in the simple, sacred moments of life.
Guide us, Lord, as we continue this journey toward Easter, and may we always find comfort in the fact that You are with us, leading us every step of the way.
Amen.
“Renounce yourself in order to follow Christ; discipline your body; do not pamper yourself; but love fasting.” -St. Benedict
Make this Lent the best of your life (Prayer, Fasting, Repent, Almsgiving).
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. -Matthew 5:16
