Day 25: 40 Days of Lent 2025

(April 2, 2025)

As we continue our journey through this Lenten season, we are reminded today of the power of forgiveness and the deep love that God has for each of us, despite our shortcomings. Lent is a time when we are called to reflect on our own lives, to acknowledge the areas where we fall short, and to offer those to God. It’s a time for transformation, and part of that transformation comes from embracing the mercy that God offers us.

To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne. -Revelation 3:21

Prayer:

Lord Jesus,
You who taught us to forgive as You have forgiven us,
Help us to open our hearts to Your mercy and grace.
We ask for the strength to forgive those who have hurt us,
And the courage to seek forgiveness where we have wronged others.
May this season of Lent deepen our understanding of Your love,
And may we grow in the humility to recognize our need for Your forgiveness.
Heal the wounds of our hearts and help us to embrace peace. Amen

“Have patience with all things, but first of all with yourself.” -St. Francis de Sales

Make this Lent the best of your life (Prayer, Fasting, Repent, Almsgiving).

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. -Matthew 5:16
