(April 9, 2025)
n the Gospel, Jesus often speaks of the importance of a heart that is pure and focused on God. It’s easy to get distracted by worldly desires or self-centered pursuits, but Lent calls us to recalibrate our hearts and minds toward God’s will. True conversion happens when we begin to live not for ourselves, but for the glory of God and the good of others.
Prayer:
May this season not end with just external acts, but may it bring about lasting transformation within us. Grant us the grace to carry forward the lessons of Lent and live with greater humility, love, and service to others.
“Lent is a time of truth. Christians, called by the Church to prayer, penance, fasting and self-sacrifice, place themselves before God and recognize themselves; they rediscover themselves.” —St. John Paul II
Make this Lent the best of your life (Prayer, Fasting, Repent, Almsgiving).
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. -Matthew 5:16
